The boom allows the user to lower the gigantic, digging bucket wheel and convey the mined material to the waiting mine truck. As the motorized shovel digs up LEGO brick rocks which are standard bricks, included with the set, they’re dropped on to one conveyor belt, up the arm of the crane, and down to a second conveyor belt.
